Opening Blessing and Invocation
Holy Spirit, Lord be with us,
As we join to give You praise.
Share with us Your loving presence,
Fill us with Your perfect ways.
Let our love for You be pleasing,
Everlasting, pure and free;
Let our praise bring joy unto You,
Welcome may it always be.
Amen.

SHALL WE GATHER AT THE RIVER?
Words and music by Rev. Robert Lowry (1826-1899); Public Domain
Shall we gather at the river,
Where bright angel feet have trod;
With its crystal tide forever
Flowing by the throne of God?
Chorus
Yes, we'll gather at the river,
The beautiful, the beautiful river;
Gather with the saints at the river
That flows by the throne of God.
On the margin of the river,
Washing up its silver spray,
We will walk and worship ever,
All the happy golden day.
Chorus
Ere we reach the shining river,
Lay we every burden down;
Grace our spirits will deliver,
And provide a robe and crown.
Chorus
Soon we'll reach the shining river,
Soon our pilgrimage will cease,
Soon our happy hearts will quiver
With the melody of peace.
Chorus

Prayer4You: "May You Become A Blessing Unto Them"
Prayer4You: "May You Become A Blessing Unto Them"
By Rev. Bill McGinnis, Public Domain
I pray the Lord will work within your heart
And lead you to accept this new idea:
That on this day, with every soul you touch,
You will become a blessing unto them.
When they are sad, may you be sad with them.
When they rejoice, may you rejoice with them.
When they need help, may you provide to them.
Let loving looks and smiles adorn your face,
Let frowns and harsh appearance disappear.
Let gentle sounds and sweetness fill your voice.
I pray the Lord will put into your mind
The thoughts that He desires for you to think.
I pray the Lord will put onto your lips
The words that He desires for you to say.
I pray the Lord will guide your hands to do
The work that He intends for you to do.
I know He will provide to you the means
To carry out whatever He directs.
In everything you think and say and do,
May you become a blessing unto them
In Jesus' name I pray for you, Amen.

Exhortation: "My Children, Love One Another!"
"My Children, Love One Another!"
This item is not directly from Scripture, but it comes from a
trusted man of God, St. Jerome, whom God selected to compile the Latin
Vulgate Bible, which was the authoritative Christian Bible for the
world for many centuries.
It is a story about St. John, writer of the Fourth Gospel and the Book
of Revelation and the letters 1st, 2nd and 3rd John.
St. Jerome writes that during the last years of St. John's life, when
he was a very old man, he used always say the same thing to the
faithful: "My children, love one another!" On one occasion he was
asked why he insisted on this, to which he replied: "Because it is the
Lord's commandment, and if you keep just this commandment, it will
suffice." ("Comm. in Gal.", III, 6, 10).

Invitation To Accept Jesus Christ As Your Personal Lord And Saviour - http://www.internetchurchofchrist.org/jesusdirect.html
Benediction
I pray the Lord that He will lead your path
Away from the temptations all around.
I pray that when temptation lingers near,
The Lord will lead you not into its reach.
But if temptation grabs you as you pass,
I pray the Lord that you will struggle free.
In Jesus' holy name I pray, Amen.
